TITLE: Marketing & Brand Executive DEPARTMENT: Marketing & Communications REPORTS TO: Marketing Brand Manager WORK PATTERNS: Full Time (Hybrid working) JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY: To support the Marketing team in raising the profile, appeal, engagement and understanding of the London Luton Airport brand and to materially improve LLA’s reputation as the UK’s simplest and friendliest airport focused on sustainable growth among passengers, partners, staff and stakeholders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: To act as a brand guardian ensuring the LLA brand is consistently applied and its identity guidelines are strictly adhered to on all applications, re-educating users on the acceptable use of the brand where necessary both through third party suppliers and internally. Create and design brand related assets and assist in the production of internal presentations. Where required, work with external design partners on larger sized or campaign projects. Provide creative partnership support, guidance to internal stakeholders and wider airport community of third parties where there is a requirement for branded collaboration. To support and collaborate with the wider Marketing team to deliver a series of flagship repositioning projects, campaigns, departmental collaborations and experiential activity across a wide range of on and off-line channels, focusing on ROI and tangible KPIs. Build knowledge of the airport’s airline, destination and product portfolio to help steer and inform marketing campaigns. To manage the ‘internal marketing support function’ that administers and prioritises workflow to deliver departmental requirements. Management of the brand asset library, responsible for storage and version control. Work closely with the Guest Experience team and other airport stakeholders to support with guest experience, terminal enhancements and innovation projects. Carry out other ad hoc tasks, including 24/7 first response crisis comms and weekly/monthly monitoring and reporting. Be adept at managing and interpreting data through a company brand tracker to enable marketing opportunities to be identified and activity to be timely and relevant across geographical and demographic domains. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Experience in the processes and tools required to deliver design/content, including Photoshop/Illustrator/In Design and PowerPoint. A demonstrable knowledge of (or strong desire to learn) the travel sector. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good experience on delivering brand related projects and planning events. Highly creative with a proven track record in a marketing / brand role. Experience engaging diverse groups of stakeholders and individuals, including working with design agencies, printers and merchandise. Ability to work effectively on their own and as part of a team. Highly organised approach to managing themselves and their work. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Experience working in a dynamic and fast changing environment. Ability to work on multiple projects at one time. Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Relevant academic and professional qualifications. Good understanding of using performance analytics and data insights. Experience of using Microsoft 365, SharePoint, teams or similar platforms is desirable but not essential This job description is intended to give an appreciation of the role and the range of duties and responsibilities to be undertaken.
